In short:

- You can return a Saagae ring that you bought online if it is not to your liking. You must report returns to Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten within 12 days after receiving your order by e-mail: info@liesbethbusman.nl or you can send us a message via the contact page. 

- You can cancel your order within 2 weeks after placing the online order.

- The ring to be returned can not be worn, and It has to be returned in the original packaging, and send with secured/ insured sending.

- The ring size can be adjusted after by your local jeweler, or by us. Costs may apply. (with us it is 48 euro's for making smaller and 78 + gold costs for making a ring bigger.)

General information:
In these general terms and conditions and elsewhere on the site, Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten is the sole proprietorship of Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten. Saagæ rings is a trade name/label of Liesbeth Busman. For all orders and deliveries of Saagæ rings the following terms and conditions apply:

The term designs refers to drawings/sketches or 3D models that represent the idea of the appearance or the concept of the jewellery or object.

Jewellery and objects are understood to mean the jewellery and objects produced.

Delivery terms and conditions :
1.1 The following delivery and payment terms apply to all orders, offers and agreements. These conditions are accessible to everyone on the Internet at http://www.saagae-rings.com and http://www.liesbethbusman.com. On request we will send you a copy by e-mail.

1.2 Accepting an offer, making a down payment, or placing an order for a piece of jewellery, object or design, means that you accept the applicability of these Conditions.

1.3 The terms of these Conditions may only be changed in writing, in which case the other terms shall remain in full force.

2. The purchase- or design agreement between I/we/Saagae rings/Saagæ rings/Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten and you/your/consumer/client/buyer/VIP has been established at the moment that you place an order verbally or by e-mail or by online ordering at www.saagae-rings.com, that you have made a down payment, and or, that the order confirmation has been sent by e-mail to you/customer.

All prices are in Euros and include 21% VAT, excluding shipping costs. To bear in mind is that if the recipient is not in the country of dispatch, the recipient is responsible for any sales tax or import duties or import taxes due in the recipient country.

2a. All offers made by Liesbeth Busman Jewellery & Objects are without obligation. Offers are made subject to availability and current prices and (daily) exchange rates of supplies, services and the (precious) metal required. If a piece of jewellery or object is unexpectedly no longer available, you will be informed by telephone or e-mail and possibly offered an alternative, or you can cancel the order free of charge.

2b For sales in the shop at Prinsegracht 32, the sale is complete when you leave the shop with the jewellery/order and have paid in full.

2c Not having paid for an order or piece of jewellery in full does not entitle you to cancel the purchase. Please check when you come to collect your order if everything is to your satisfaction. Size adjustments can often be made afterwards, no worries. See also the further conditions, additional sizing costs may apply.



3a If the jewellery or object is specially designed and made or made to order for you, the delivery time is 8-10 weeks after receipt of your payment and approval of the desired design. The delivery time is also dependent on the design and the customised nature. The design and production therefore add up to approximately 10 to 14 weeks. In consultation, a faster delivery time is possible if the further production agenda allows it.

3b. Before the start of the production of the jewellery or object, and in consultation, a down payment of half of the total amount of the offer will be required due to customisation. The down payment will be deducted from the final invoice.

The following provisions apply to all orders, including custom-made orders:

3c. The design and production of an order is based on the information provided by the client (i.e. you). In the event of errors or misunderstandings in the design/ jewellery or object which arise from the client's incomplete or incorrect information, Liesbeth Busman Jewellery and Objects will unfortunately not accept cancellation and the design/production costs will be charged as agreed with the client in advance.

3c-2 To be able to call or email you for consultation or about details in the creation process or possible delays, I need a correct phone number and a correct email address. You are responsible for providing the correct contact information, and also for reading your email or listening to your voicemail messages to be aware of any changes that are important to know. Missing these messages by providing incorrect contact information or not checking your messages is not a valid reason to cancel or claim compensation from me.

3d Liesbeth Busman Jewellery & Objects shall never be liable for damage as a result of exceeding the delivery time or damage as a result of possibly postponing the pick-up appointment. Delivery times indicated on the website and in the order confirmation or offer or invoice are indicative and not exact. I have the right to deliver the order to you in another way / day / time than through a (made) appointment to collect. This can sometimes be necessary because I suddenly have to go abroad for business, or other unforeseen circumstances. I will ensure that your order is delivered in time for an important date.The order will then either be delivered by courier, or it can be picked up on another day/time by appointment in the shop and/or with an employee.

3e The processing of your old / handed in gold and the processing of your own gemstones is at your own risk. Liesbeth Busman is not liable for any additional costs that may arise as a result of an incidental failure to process the gold that was handed in, nor for any material defects/tears that may arise later during wear. Liesbeth Busman is also not liable for any additional costs caused by breakage or damage or discolouration or cracking or flaking of the handed in (‘Old”) gemstones. This has to do with the fact that gemstones and precious metals are sometimes treated or have invisible defects to the eye. These invisible defects and treatments can, when stress or heat or cleaning products come on the metal/precious stone, sometimes cause breakage or e.g. colour change. This is impossible to estimate in advance and is explicitly excluded from the warranty. When you buy gold or gemstones from Liesbeth Busman, the risk of breakage is for Liesbeth Busman. If something goes wrong, I will contact you immediately to discuss how to proceed and the possible extra costs will be discussed beforehand and agreed upon.

4. We take care to keep the data on the website as up to date as possible. The final weight of precious metal in the jewellery may, in connection with the desired size of the jewellery and because it is unique handiwork, differ from the price mentioned on the website, in price list or from the price estimate in the offer. Due to unforeseen circumstances, supplier prices or the (daily) fine gold rate may change. If prices rise or fall by more than 5%, a material deduction or surcharge will be made on the final invoice.

4a Liesbeth Busman Jewellery & Objects is entitled to change prices, in particular when this is necessary on the basis of (legal) regulations and to correct any typing and content errors. If you would be disadvantaged by this, you will be informed by e-mail. You then have the right to cancel the order. Excluded from the right to cancel are price changes caused by (daily) exchange rate fluctuations of precious metals.

About payments:

5. Payments must be made within 14 days after invoice or order date. Payment can be made through the online payment options as mentioned on the website, by transfer to the account number or if agreed the remaining payment can be made when picking up the jewellery or object in the studio in The Hague.

5a In the Salon you can pay with PIN and cash

6 When you place an order, the following information may be requested: Name, address, postcode, city, country, telephone number, e-mail address, method of payment and possibly your account number. These data are not passed on to third parties. The Data Protection Act applies to this.

Delivery times
7. Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten will ensure that all jewellery and objects ordered, if in stock, will be delivered to you within 10 to 15 working days, after receipt of payment. The above delivery time is an indication and not a final delivery time. Liesbeth Busman Jewellery & Objects uses a maximum legal delivery time of 30 days for jewellery and objects that can be delivered from stock. If this ordered jewellery or objects from stock is not delivered within 30 days, you have the option of dissolving the order free of charge.

7a Jewellery or objects made to order have a delivery time of 6-8 weeks after receiving the payment. Most rings are made to order.

About shipping and returns:

8. Articles are sent by registered mail via the transport company /courier service MICROPAKKET when the payment is received.

9. For sending your jewellery or object we charge registered postage costs.

10. If upon receipt you notice that the delivered goods do not match your order, for example due to defects or wrong deliveries, you must report this to Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten within 12 days by e-mail: info@liesbethbusman.nl or you can send a message via the contact page. Otherwise you cannot return the goods, so please report within 2 weeks!

11.Return policy for orders from stock via this website:
You can cancel your order within 12 working days (from the day after delivery) and return it if the jewellery or object does not meet your expectations. If you have not returned the jewellery or object within this period, the sale is concluded. Excluded from this 12-day return right are jewellery and objects that have been commissioned or made to order.

Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten will not accept any returns after this period. Any amount paid by you will be refunded to your account within 30 days. The costs for return shipments will not be charged to the customer. Unstamped return shipments will not be accepted. We cannot accept jewellery or items that have been used, damaged or otherwise do not meet our guidelines as returns. We recommend that you always send returns by registered post and insured. Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten is not liable for lost packages during shipment.

11a. In the case of tailor-made jewellery especially made for you, if the size of the jewellery or object has in principle been incorrectly communicated by you/the client this is unfortunately not a reason for return/cancellation. In consultation, if the design allows, the size can be adjusted afterwards according to the applicable rate. When the size can be adjusted by stretching or pinching, the customisation is free of charge.

When in doubt about the right size, feel free to contact us/me, you can order a ring sizer to measure at home, or we can take the size for you by appointment at the studio in The Hague.

You can cancel your order within 12 working days (from the day after delivery) and return it if the jewellery or object does not meet your expectations. If you have not returned the jewellery or object within this period, the sale is concluded. Excluded from this 12-day return right are jewellery and objects that have been commissioned or made to order.

When in doubt about the right size, feel free to contact us/me, you can order a ring size booklet to measure at home, or we can take the size for you by appointment at the studio in The Hague.

If it is a gift and you do not know the size, we can take it into account when designing so that the size can be adjusted afterwards if necessary. In consultation a lot is possible.

If a piece of jewellery is in stock in the correct size, it can be exchanged within 2 weeks, after consultation and only with explicit written agreement, provided that the piece of jewellery with the "wrong" size has not been worn, and has not been damaged.

13. Jewellery and objects which are on sale cannot be exchanged.

14. All orders are processed in order of receipt.

15.Applicable law and competent court: All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these conditions apply, as well as these conditions, are explicitly governed by Dutch law.

15.1 It may happen that you are not satisfied with a product and/or service. Please contact us/me as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail at info@liesbethbusman.nl. We will respond to your complaint within 30 days. If this is not possible, you will receive an email with the expected delay.

16. The Copyright of all designs, jewellery, objects and accompanying visual material and photographs to be seen on the website or commissioned to Liesbeth Busman is owned by Liesbeth Busman unless otherwise stated.
15.1 It may happen that you are not satisfied with a product and/or service. Please contact us/me as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail at info@liesbethbusman.nl. We will respond to your complaint within 30 days. If this is not possible, you will receive an email with the expected delay.

16. The Copyright of all designs, jewellery, objects and accompanying visual material and photographs to be seen on the website or commissioned by Liesbeth Busman is owned by Liesbeth Busman unless otherwise stated. No design or jewellery may be copied or reproduced or published unless we have agreed in writing that you may do so. Copying or mimicking designs without permission is prohibited by law. It is also stupid and lame.

17. All goods delivered to you remain the property of Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten until all outstanding amounts have been paid in full.

18.If you fail to pay (‘are in default'), I/saagæ rings/Liesbeth Busman Sieraden & Objecten shall be entitled to suspend or dissolve the agreement in question and any related agreements.

18.1 Jewellery ordered or specially commissioned which, without consultation, is not collected by you/the client within 3 months will be sold. The down payment will then be deducted from the time I have spent designing and making something special for you which you did not collect. When a piece of jewellery is ready to be picked up you will be notified in the way you prefer. (email/call/sms)

19. Warranty:
19.1 Silver jewellery has a 1 year guarantee on material and/or construction faults. Gold jewellery 3 years. Excluded from this warranty are signs of wear and tear, and wear on settings and breakage or loss of gemstones.

19.2 Breakage of gemstones is not covered by the warranty.

19.3 Loss of gemstones is covered if this loss occurs within 3 months after purchase. Replacement of the stone is excluded when there is breakage or damage to the jewellery that caused, or could have caused, the loss of the stone.

TIP: Precious metal can be scratched and dented during wear and there is not much that can be done to prevent this. Except be careful when wearing it. So it's better to take off your ring, bracelet or necklace while gardening or exercising.
